2025 ASE South East Asia Conference
The ASE South East Asia Conference is an annual event hosted in Bangkok, Thailand by a network of International Schools. The event in 2025 aims to provide world leading speakers, including Professor Leigh Hoath, ITE Lecturer and ASE Past Chair providing the keynote, and workshops run by delegates in a wide range of areas within science pedagogy.
This year the event will be held on 21st March 2025, at King's College International School in Bangkok.
The programme is designed by educators for educators ensuring that workshops provide CPD opportunities which are pertinent to today’s teachers and to the context in which they work.
Workshop titles this year include:
- Building meaningful DEIJ links into a science curriculum
- Using AI to streamline curriculum development and improve reporting
- Building a coherent science curriculum across Key Stages.
The event also provides an opportunity to meet with the area's leading teachers and suppliers to build a network of supportive connections that will last far beyond the end of the one day conference.
Another key area of the conference is the technician strand led by Jacqueline McKie which enables technicians to have access to high quality CPD and be trained in areas from storage of glassware and chemicals to specific practicals such as Planck’s Constant or Brownian motion.
