ASE 2026 Conference – Venue announced and session proposals open
We are delighted to announce that 2026's ASE Annual Conference will return to the popular venue of University of Nottingham's University Park Campus, and will take place from 8th-10th January 2026.
The ASE’s Annual Conference is the UK’s largest science education conference gathering together science educators from across the education spectrum. The three days include 200-220 sessions with keynotes, speakers and workshops. There will also be an exhibition of science education organisations, exclusive conference offers, social events and more.
We've opened up applications for session proposals. Whether you are a seasoned speaker or would like to expand your experience and speak for the first time, we'd love to hear from you. We have a number of themes this year and full guidance is given. There is a short introductory video available on the proposal page to guide you through, and an opportunity this year for an optional video to be included in support of your application.
So if you have a project or initiative to share, a resource you've worked on, subject insights, practical activities, research to present or a valuable experience you want to share, please apply!
Please reach out to conferences@ase.org.uk if you are new to the conference and have questions or would like some support.
