NEW STE Hub podcast is here!
Ep.5 PER Club: A space for science teachers to connect and collaborate
In this episode of the Science Teacher Education Hub's Journeys in Professional Learning podcast series, Natasha Serret is in conversation with Carole Kenrick. Carole has been a secondary and primary science teacher for fifteen years. She has over thirteen years' experience of training teachers for the Institute of Physics (IoP), The Ogden Trust, Teach First and STEM Learning. Carole is particularly passionate about inclusion, evidence to inform pedagogy, developing students' identification with physics and building partnerships between school.
One of the many projects that Carole is currently involved with is the Physics Education Research (PER) club at the Institute of Physics. In this episode, we discuss the PER club and how it creates an important space for science teachers to connect and collaborate.
