The ASE is excited to open applications for our committee roles, with new appointments starting from 1 August 2025. We’re calling on passionate educators and professionals—whether you’re new to ASE, early in your career, or a long-standing member—to get involved and help shape the future of science education.

Serving on an ASE committee is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, work alongside like-minded colleagues, and develop valuable professional skills. You don’t need prior committee experience—just enthusiasm and a desire to contribute. We provide plenty of support to help new members get started, and we welcome fresh perspectives.

Each committee plays a vital role in guiding ASE’s work, and members serve for up to three years. This is your chance to be at the heart of science education development, while also enhancing your CV and broadening your network.
