Description

Many science teachers may be unfamiliar with Hooper's rule (sometimes, but incorrectly, referred to as Hooper's hypothesis). The rule was devised by Dr Max Hooper in the 1960s as a means of dating field hedges and it can also be used to help establish the age of tracks, lanes and enclosed land.
